The Eiffel Programme is a tool designed to help French higher education establishments accompany the high-calibre overseas students that they select. Only French higher education establishments can submit applications and, if successful, they must enrol the candidates in the requested courses to obtain the Eiffel grant.

Benefit
- Master course: Eiffel scholarship-holders receive a monthly grant allowance of 1,181 Euros (current applicable rate).
- PhD course: Eiffel PhD scholarship-holders receive a monthly allowance of 1,400 Euros (current applicable rate)
Eligibility
Only foreign nationals are eligible to apply for a scholarship from the French Government. In the case of dual nationality applicants, those with French nationality are ineligible.Applications from students currently studying outside France will be given priority over those from students already studying in France. Educational establishments that shortlist non-French speaking applicants must ensure that their level of French is sufficient to enable them to integrate satisfactorily into the anticipated course.
