The School of Education and Human Development (SEHD) is pleased to invite you to apply for
an academic scholarship to support your studies.
Eligibility
Students are eligible to apply if they have submitted an admission application, have been accepted into, or are matriculated in a SEHD graduate program. You must enroll in at least six (6) graduate-level credits during each semester in which you receive scholarship funds. Exception to this rule is done on a case-by-case basis.

To apply the scholarship you must provide the following documents:

- A completed application.
- A current résumé.
- Official or copies of official transcripts. If a current USM graduate student, you can printyour unofficial transcript directly from MaineStreet.
- A brief essay (one page or less) describing your studies and professional goals.
- A brief financial need statement.
- A recommendation from one faculty member in SEHD using the form attached to the application.
