The Jefferson Scholarship For Undegraduate Students At Virginia University, USA

Description
Intended to cover the entire cost of attendance for four years at the University of Virginia, the Jefferson Scholars’ stipend includes tuition, fees, books, supplies, room, board, and personal expenses.  In 2011-12, Jefferson Scholars from the Commonwealth of Virginia will receive $24,104 each year, and out-of-state or international Jefferson Scholars will receive an annual stipend of $49,098.

Eligibility
Each and every Jefferson Scholar is unique; there is no “typical Scholar.”  They are linked together by a common commitment to being leaders, scholars and citizens and they are passionate about making their communities better places, each in his or her own way.  Jefferson Scholars are people of diverse interests and passions, with varying worldviews developed from different backgrounds.
