ASEAN Undergraduate Scholarship At Chulalongkorn University, Thailand

Description
Chulalongkorn University Offers 4 scholarships for students from ASEAN countries. The grant will be divided into 4 payments: the first month 20,000 baht, second month 10,000 baht, third month 10,000 baht and the fourth month 10,000 baht.*

Eligibility
  1. Applicants must be undergraduate students at an accredited University in an ASEAN country except Thailand.
  2. Applicant  must be a citizen of an ASEAN member country
  3. All ASEAN students studying in Thailand are ineligible to apply.

Application Procedure
Please Submit the following documents

  • Complete application form (download).
  • Statement of purpose attached with the application form.
  • Official transcript with latest GPAX.
  • One 1-inch photograph (face shot with no hat, sunglasses, or computer editing).
  • Two letters of recommendation from instructors or advisors.
  •  University testimonial letter.

Full MS and PhD Scholarships in Agriculture and Related Sciences By SEAMEO Searca

Description
SEARCA’s Graduate Study Program was initiated in school year 1968-69. Its aim is to ensure the relevance and responsiveness of Southeast Asia's agricultural scientists and professionals to global sustainable development issues.

The program provides support for advanced studies leading to the MS and PhD degrees in agriculture, forestry, and related fields. SEARCA aims to prepare highly qualified professionals working in agricultural and rural development for positions of leadership in SEAMEO member countries.

Eligibility

Th   e SEARCA Graduate Scholarship is open to nationals of Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Th   ailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam who are
regular employees of academic, research or government institutions and not more than 35 years old at the time of application.

SEARCA scholars may study at any of the following universities:
     •     Institut Pertanian Bogor, Indonesia
     •     Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia
     •     Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia
     •     Kasetsart University, Thailand
     •     University of the Philippines (UP) Los Baños, Philippines

with other original application requirements to their countries respective Ministries of Education,

Master Scholarship Program Funded by The AUN/SEED-Net Project a For Students From Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand

Description
The AUN/SEED-Net Project with support from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) provides scholarships to highly qualified young teaching staff and graduating students/young graduates (i.e., potential future faculty staff) of Member Institutions to acquire master’s degrees in the selected ASEAN's countries.

The scholarships cover tuition fees, living expenses, health insurance, visa fee and airport tax, and a round-trip air ticket, in accordance with the AUN/SEED-Net Project regulations. There may be partial support(s) from concerned Host and Sending Institution.

Eligibility
  1. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline of engineering, or to be awarded the Bachelor’s degree before starting the Master’s degree program.
  2. Applicants should be ranked within top 10% of the class, or have the grade point average of 3.0 or higher from the grade point system of 4.0 in their undergraduate study.
  3. Applicants must be young faculty staff of Member Institutions, or graduating students, or young  graduates of Member Institutions who are strongly motivated to pursue a professional career as faculty staff at Member Institutions.
  4. Applicants should be not over the age of 30 at the time of application and capable of carrying out independent research.
  5. Applicants who have already received another equivalent major award, scholarship or a salary to undertake a proposed course are not eligible for scholarships.
