Novo Nordisk and Novozymes offer scholarships to support graduate training of some of the best students in protein science, biotechnology, bioinformatics, molecular biology, systems biology, translational medicine, microbiology, biophysics, pharmacology, medical research methodology, pharmacy, drug delivery and biomedical devices.The purpose is to allow selected students at universities in Denmark and Lund University to devote full time to their MSc thesis (in Danish: speciale).

Benefits:
The scholarship amounts to DKK 7,000 per month for up to 12 months at a maximum of DKK 84,000 for a one year MSc thesis project. The scholarship cannot be extended. The scholarship can be initiated anytime between 1 February, 2013 and 1 September, 2013. Currently, there are twenty scholarships for local and international students undertaking one of the eligible single masters postgraduate coursework programs offered in semester 1, 2013 at The University of Sydney Business School.

2013 Michael Wills Scholarships At University of Oxford, UK

Description
The scholarships awards were presented in the spirit of post-World War II reconciliation and are named after Captain Michael Wills MC, a former student at Magdalen College who was killed in action in Tunisia in 1943. Michael Wills was a cousin and close friend of the 2nd Lord Dulverton, and it is the Dulverton Trust that generously funds these scholarships. The Dulverton Trust is an independent charitable grant-making organisation established by Deed in 1949 by the 1st Lord Dulverton. The Dulverton Trust also funds Dulverton Scholarships at the University of Oxford. In 2013-14, the Michael Wills Scholarships are being co-funded and run in conjunction with the Oxford Department of International Development. What does it cover? 100% of university and college fees, and a grant for living expenses (the rate in 2012-13 was £12,900). Awards are made for the full duration of a student’s fee liability for the agreed course. If your scholarship is offered for a course lasting more than one year, the continuation of your scholarship for the second year is subject to an annual renewal process based on satisfactory academic progress.

Eligibility
Main preference will be given to students from countries that have experienced conflict in the relatively recent past 30 years. Applicants who are resident in non-EEA countries should be intending to return to their country of ordinary residence on completion of their studies. 1. Applicants must be a British, Commonwealth or European Union Citizen.
2. Applicants must be normally resident in the United Kingdom and have lived here for the last 3 years.
3. Applicants must have pursued a vocational route in an engineering discipline for at least 2 years after having left full-time education and before entering a degree-level engineering course.

FOR MSc STUDY:

1. Applicants must be a recent graduate who has completed at least a 2 year engineering apprenticeship before entering an engineering degree-level course.

Scholarship Award - Beans for Brains Scholarship Program, USA

Description
The scholarship award is specially sponsored by Jimmy Beans Wool. It is available for all leve of stdies: graduating high school seniors, undergraduate, graduate and professional school students in any course of study

For the coming award year, there are five $2,250 scholarships up for grabs, one of which is guaranteed to go to a Reno/Tahoe local (the other four awards will be distributed evenly among the four U.S. Regions). Foundation Scholarship - The Persian Scholarship Foundation, USA

Description
The Persian Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit foundation with the mission to recognize academic excellence among students of Iranian descent studying in the United States—especially those who through their activities and leadership help to disseminate knowledge about the Persian culture, history and heritage within the United States.

The PSF was founded by Arash Davallou, former president of the Persian Students' Cultural Association at UC Berkeley and member of the Harvard Business School Alumni Association.

The foundation scholarships are currently offered as follow:

• High School Recognition Award - $500
• University – Undergraduate Recognition Award - $1000
• University – Graduate Recognition Award - $1000

Eligibility

• Currently enrolled student within a high school, college or university in the United States.
• Publication of an essay / article within your school’s newspaper or a local / national newspaper in which you discuss themes relating to the history, culture, literature and or heritage of the Iranian people or the achievements of scholars, scientists and leaders of Iranian descent. The essay should aim to emphasize the positive achievements of Iran and Iranians and their contributions to society or enlightening aspects of history related to the Iranian-American community.

Application Procedure
Eligible applicants should submit the following documents: a cover letter telling us about yourself, your background and achievements, any leadership experiences you may have had and your reasons for applying to this program (no more than two pages), a data sheet with your full name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, current year in school and the name and location of your school, a digital copy of your valid student ID, a scanned digital copy of your published article, a Word Document copy of the article as a reference, and a digital scanned copy of your official transcript indicating your GPA
