The scholarship is sponsored by Dr. C. Moore who wrote the autobiography entitled From Failure to Promise: An Uncommon Path to Professoriate. This scholarship is essay-based and asks students to compose an essay of at least 1,000 words. Essays should address one of the following prompts:
The scholarship is sponsored by Dr. C. Moore who wrote the autobiography entitled From Failure to Promise: An Uncommon Path to Professoriate. This scholarship is essay-based and asks students to compose an essay of at least 1,000 words. Essays should address one of the following prompts:
- How has this book From Failure to Promise: An Uncommon Path to Professoriate positively impacted your pursuit of success and promise?
- What is your commitment to improving the lives of global citizens once you’ve reached your destined promise?
The winning student will receive a scholarship of $1,500. The scholarship committee will award the runners-up $1,000 and $500, respectively.
Eligibility
- Be high school seniors, undergraduate students, or graduate students
- Have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
- Attending or planning to attend an accredited US college/university
