Description
The RIC Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine (PRM) fellowship is under the direction of Sue Mukherjee, MD. The fellowship scholarship is accredited for a 1 year post double boarding and 2 years post PMR residency.
There is a balanced time commitment between outpatient, day programs, consulting, inpatient patient care activities, research and education. We have a 14-bed inpatient service that draws from international sources. Excellent learning opportunities are available in comprehensive, multidisciplinary clinics focused on the spasticity management, pediatric amputee and spina bifida. Organized rehabilitation experiences are available in the rheumatology, developmental and brachial plexus clinics. Skills developed include neurolytic blocks and intrathecal baclofen management.
