(Scholarships and Grants) Research Grant in Information and Decision Support Systems at INESC-ID, Portugal

Description
The position holder is expected to develop scientific research preferably within these topics, and will be encouraged to start their own projects in coordination with colleagues. Excellent candidates in related areas are also strongly encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will be integrated in an existing research group at INESC-ID and will conduct research in:

1. Programming models, languages, tools, and processes to develop complex software systems,
2. Architecture of communication networks and mobilty aspects of communication,
3. Algorithms, middleware and communication support to build complex and dynamic distributed applications.

Eligibility
Applicants should hold a PhD, be fluent in English and show evidence of autonomous research abilities. They should be willing to work in a team and also have a strong publication record. The successful candidate should propose an innovative research project with relevance for the research area where she/he will be integrated.
