International Scholarship From The Government of the Republic of Slovenia, Slovenia

Description
The scholarships are open to foreign students who wish to come to Slovenia as an exchange student. The main purpose of the scholarship scheme is to support foreign students who wish to undertake a part of their study (undergraduate or postgraduate) on the individual basis under the supervision of Slovenian lecturer.

The scholarship covers:

1. accommodation in the facilities of the Student Centre of the Universities if the student requires it (paid for by the Ministry directly);
2. basic medical insurance for time being in Slovenia as an exchange student and for non-EU students if there is no bilateral agreement on health insurance between the Republic of Slovenia and the applicant’s home country (paid for directly by the Ministry);
3. 253 EUR monthly subsistence.

Eligibility
The applicant must be enrolled at the institution in their home country and come to Slovenia as an exchange student. Scholarships are not complementary: students can have only one scholarship, regardless of its source.
Scholarship Open for Students of Following Countries: Belgium – Flanders, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Israel, Japan, Macedonia, Mexico, Montenegro, Poland, PR of China, Russian Federation, Slovakia, Switzerland and Turkey.

Application Procedure
The candidates should address themselves to the authorities of their country that are competent to collect the applications and to select and recommend candidatures. Individual applications sent to CMEPIUS are not eligible.

For exact information regarding the responsible authority in own country the candidates should contact the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in their country.

The list of nominated candidates of the competent authority of each country, together with complete application form in three (3) copies (one original and 2 copies) with accompanying annexes have to be sent to the Slovenian National Agency - CMEPIUS.

Online Scholarship Application Californi State University, Chico, USA

Description
The scholarship application for California State University, Chico is open for 2013-2014.  Scholarship recipients are selected in the spring for the following academic year.  In order to be considered for 2013-2014, applications must be received by December 15, 2012 midnight Pacific Standard Time.

The CSU, Chico scholarship application is composed of two parts:

• The online application that is submitted by the student, and
• The online letter of recommendation that is submitted directly by the faculty member, advisor, teacher, or counselor after the student has contacted them and requested it.

Eligibility
Applicants must be enrolled at CSU, Chico or must be eligible for regular admission. New applicants to the University must have an admission application on file. Final admission status will be verified prior to scholarship funds being disbursed. Students enrolled only through Regional & Continuing Education’s Open University are not eligible. All scholarships require that the recipients maintain full-time enrollment (12 units undergraduates and credential; 8 units graduates). All scholarships also require a minimum 2.00 GPA and many require a GPA of 3.00 or higher

1. Your Chico State ID:  For new applicants, this number will be assigned to you after you submit your application for admission to CSU, Chico. Watch for an important e-mail from the Office of Admissions.
2. Your written statement:  This is the majority of the online application. You will be prompted to answer a series of questions.  Applications without responses are not complete and will not be considered for scholarships.
3. Online Letter of Recommendation.  More information. Please note:  For the School of the Arts, which includes Music, Theater, and Musical Theater majors, auditions take the place of a letter of recommendation. Art Studio majors must submit a portfolio.
4. Additional Requirements as needed:  Some majors require supplemental application materials.

Full-fee Scholarships At Loughborough University Graduate School Development For Students From Africa, UK

Loughborough University is delighted to announce full-fee scholarships for international full-time taught postgraduate students who are currently domiciled (permanently living) in Africa.

These will be known as the Loughborough University Graduate School Development Trust Africa Scholarships. The scholarships will cover 100% of the course fees for your chosen postgraduate taught course for one year (replacing any Departmental or Loughborough University scholarships or bursaries you may already have been awarded).

Eligibility

• Currently domiciled (permanently living) in Africa
• Evidence of exceptional academic achievement (normally a 1st Class Honours Degree)
• Commitment to return to their home country on completion of postgraduate programme
• Evidence of the ability and commitment to making a significant contribution to their home country on their return
• Full understanding of the costs involved in coming to study and live in the UK
• Evidence of strong motivation and initiative to secure funds to cover the remainder of the costs involved
