The Scholarship awards are specially open to successful MBA candidates from the following countries;EU, Swiss, Norwegian and Russian Nationals and who want to pursue a full-time MBA at Cranfield School of Management.

The selection criteria for the scholarships will be based on both: Strength of the application: an applicant’s achievements, academic credentials and professional track record. The interviewer’s report: an assessment of the applicant’s communication and interpersonal skills, leadership and/or entrepreneurial potential as well as the candidate’s likely contribution to the professional and cultural make-up of the cohort and overall experience of the MBA class.

2013 Michael Wills Scholarships At University of Oxford, UK

Description
The scholarships awards were presented in the spirit of post-World War II reconciliation and are named after Captain Michael Wills MC, a former student at Magdalen College who was killed in action in Tunisia in 1943. Michael Wills was a cousin and close friend of the 2nd Lord Dulverton, and it is the Dulverton Trust that generously funds these scholarships. The Dulverton Trust is an independent charitable grant-making organisation established by Deed in 1949 by the 1st Lord Dulverton. The Dulverton Trust also funds Dulverton Scholarships at the University of Oxford. In 2013-14, the Michael Wills Scholarships are being co-funded and run in conjunction with the Oxford Department of International Development. What does it cover? 100% of university and college fees, and a grant for living expenses (the rate in 2012-13 was £12,900). Awards are made for the full duration of a student’s fee liability for the agreed course. If your scholarship is offered for a course lasting more than one year, the continuation of your scholarship for the second year is subject to an annual renewal process based on satisfactory academic progress.

Eligibility
Main preference will be given to students from countries that have experienced conflict in the relatively recent past 30 years. Chatham House, in partnership with the Robert Bosch Stiftung, invites scholars from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine to apply for a Visiting Fellowship at Chatham House in London.  The Succesful applicants will spend six months each working at Chatham House with the Russia and Eurasia Programme team. During this time they will conduct a research project of their own design relating to the politics, economies and societies of the post-Soviet region.

Applications are invited for a Research Fellow or Senior Research Fellow - Russia (depending on experience) for the Russia and Eurasia Programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking research and research projects leading to published output on Russia and the western post-Soviet region and undertaking fundraising for such research. Although the primary focus will be Russia, expertise in one or more of the western post-Soviet states would be desirable.

Commonwealth Scholarships for students from developing Commonwealth countries are offered for Master’s, PhD, and split-site (PhD) study in the UK. These scholarships are funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID).

Approximately 300 scholarships are awarded each year. The CSC invites around three times more nominations than scholarships available – therefore, nominated candidates are not guaranteed to get a scholarship. There are no quotas for scholarships for any individual country. Candidates nominated by national nominating agencies are in competition with those nominated by universities/university bodies, and the same standards will be applied to applications made through either channel.

The fellowship award supports outstanding researchers from low- and middle-income countries to establish themselves as leading investigators at an academic institution in a low- and middle-income country location. The scholarships are open to suitable new UK/EU and International (i.e., outside the EU) applicants. Please note though that the awards cover tuition fees at the UK/EU rate only. International applicants (and those not eligible to pay UK/EU tuition fees) must demonstrate at the time of their application that they can fund the difference in tuition fee rates.

(Scholarship Award) International Excellence Scholarships (AIES) At Aberystwyth University, UK

Description
Up to 51 scholarships, each worth either £2000 or £3000 towards tuition fees will be available for full-time non-EU students on taught Masters courses that commence in September 2012. The scholarships will be awarded for academic excellence (minimum of a UK upper second class honours degree or the equivalent for the £2000 award and a minmum of a UK first class honours degree or equivalent for the £3000 award, either already achieved or predicted by the candidate’s awarding university).

Eligibility
1.Up to 59 scholarships worth either £2000 or £3000 from tuition fees of full-time non-EU students on taught Masters courses are available for students who commence their studies in September 2012.
2.A minimum (UK) 2.i Honours (or equivalent) is required for the £2000 award and minimum of a (UK) 1st Class Honours (or equivalent) is required for the £3000 award.
