The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) presents scholarships each year. The scholarship award will provide financial support in completing their degree as they prepare for a career in the field of special education. These scholarships provide support for the student’s undergraduate or graduate educational expenses.

Eligibility
The interested applicants should:

• In the academic year the scholarships is given, the recipient must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate (master’s or doctoral) student enrolled at an accredited college or university, or a part-time student who is not engaged in full-time employment as a certified professional in the field of education. (To receive the scholarship in 2013, the applicant must be a student in 2013.)
• Must be pursuing a degree in the field of special education.
• Have an overall grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale.
• Be a current CEC student member and have been a member for at least one year at the time of application for this scholarship.

International Research Fellowships in American History and Culture Funded By The Barra Foundation, USA

Description
The Library Company of Philadelphia and the Historical Society of Pennsylvania each year offer two one-month fellowships to support research in residence in their collections by foreign national scholars of early American history and culture living outside the United States. The fellowships are funded by the Barra Foundation, Inc.These two independent research libraries, adjacent to each other in Center City Philadelphia, have complementary collections capable of supporting research in a variety of fields and disciplines relating to the history of America and the Atlantic world from the 17th through the 19th centuries, as well as Mid-Atlantic regional history to the present.

Benefit
The successful applicants will receive stipend is $2,500, plus an allowance for travel expenses. In addition, the fellowships also will cover the Library Company’s Cassatt House fellows’ residence offers rooms at reasonable rates, along with a kitchen, common room, and offices with internet access, available to resident and non-resident fellows at all hours.

European MBA Scholarships At Cranfield School of Management, UK

Description
The Scholarship awards are specially open to successful MBA candidates from the following countries;EU, Swiss, Norwegian and Russian Nationals and who want to pursue a full-time MBA at Cranfield School of Management.

The selection criteria for the scholarships will be based on both: Strength of the application: an applicant’s achievements, academic credentials and professional track record. The interviewer’s report: an assessment of the applicant’s communication and interpersonal skills, leadership and/or entrepreneurial potential as well as the candidate’s likely contribution to the professional and cultural make-up of the cohort and overall experience of the MBA class.

Scholarship Award - The Project Yellow Light/Hunter Garner Scholarship, USA

Description
The Project Yellow Light/Hunter Garner Scholarship is a scholarship that asks students to create a 60 second video to encourage your friends to avoid distracted driving. This program is open to both high school students and college students (in separate categories).

Videos will be judged based on the following aspects:

MSc Thesis Scholarship - Novo Scholarships Award Specially Offered to Danish and Sweden Students, Denmark - Sweden

Description
Novo Nordisk and Novozymes offer scholarships to support graduate training of some of the best students in protein science, biotechnology, bioinformatics, molecular biology, systems biology, translational medicine, microbiology, biophysics, pharmacology, medical research methodology, pharmacy, drug delivery and biomedical devices.The purpose is to allow selected students at universities in Denmark and Lund University to devote full time to their MSc thesis (in Danish: speciale).

Benefits:
The scholarship amounts to DKK 7,000 per month for up to 12 months at a maximum of DKK 84,000 for a one year MSc thesis project. The scholarship cannot be extended. The scholarship can be initiated anytime between 1 February, 2013 and 1 September, 2013. If the MSc thesis project is initiated before 1 February next year, the grant will cover the remaining period from 1 February.

Eligibility

• Students enrolled at a Danish university or Lund University at the time of submitting the application. The university supervisor must be associated with the same institution. Marks for bachelor project, if part of the curriculum must be at least 10 and weighted average for the bachelor minimum 8.2 (7-point scale).
• The student may spend some time during the MSc thesis project at an institution outside the university such as Novo Nordisk/Novozymes R&D labs or an institution abroad. However, master students performing or having agreements to perform their thesis work at Novo Nordisk/Novozymes cannot apply.
