European MBA Scholarships At Cranfield School of Management, UK

The Scholarship awards are specially open to successful MBA candidates from the following countries;EU, Swiss, Norwegian and Russian Nationals and who want to pursue a full-time MBA at Cranfield School of Management.

The selection criteria for the scholarships will be based on both: Strength of the application: an applicant’s achievements, academic credentials and professional track record. The interviewer’s report: an assessment of the applicant’s communication and interpersonal skills, leadership and/or entrepreneurial potential as well as the candidate’s likely contribution to the professional and cultural make-up of the cohort and overall experience of the MBA class.

Scholarship benefits: the successful applicants will receive Up to £12,000 towards the tuition fees.

Scholarship Award - The Project Yellow Light/Hunter Garner Scholarship, USA

Description
The Project Yellow Light/Hunter Garner Scholarship is a scholarship that asks students to create a 60 second video to encourage your friends to avoid distracted driving. This program is open to both high school students and college students (in separate categories).

Videos will be judged based on the following aspects:
  1. Ability to capture the attention of others, specifically, the attention of your peers.
  2. Persuade others to alter driving habits. Your film must resonate with teens and move them to action.
  3. Clarity of message – it must be understandable and well-structured.
  4. Creative expression – put your personal stamp on it.
  5. Video should be of good production quality.

Benefits
The first place winner will receive a scholarship in the amount of $5,000. Second-place finisher will receive $2,000. Third-place finisher will receive $1,000.

MSc Thesis Scholarship - Novo Scholarships Award Specially Offered to Danish and Sweden Students, Denmark - Sweden

Description
Novo Nordisk and Novozymes offer scholarships to support graduate training of some of the best students in protein science, biotechnology, bioinformatics, molecular biology, systems biology, translational medicine, microbiology, biophysics, pharmacology, medical research methodology, pharmacy, drug delivery and biomedical devices.The purpose is to allow selected students at universities in Denmark and Lund University to devote full time to their MSc thesis (in Danish: speciale).

Benefits:
The scholarship amounts to DKK 7,000 per month for up to 12 months at a maximum of DKK 84,000 for a one year MSc thesis project. The scholarship cannot be extended. The scholarship can be initiated anytime between 1 February, 2013 and 1 September, 2013. If the MSc thesis project is initiated before 1 February next year, the grant will cover the remaining period from 1 February.

Eligibility
  • Students enrolled at a Danish university or Lund University at the time of submitting the application. The university supervisor must be associated with the same institution. Marks for bachelor project, if part of the curriculum must be at least 10 and weighted average for the bachelor minimum 8.2 (7-point scale).
  • The student may spend some time during the MSc thesis project at an institution outside the university such as Novo Nordisk/Novozymes R&D labs or an institution abroad. However, master students performing or having agreements to perform their thesis work at Novo Nordisk/Novozymes cannot apply.

Business Leader Scholarship For Postgraduate Students at Sydney Business School - Sydney University, Australia

Currently, there are twenty scholarships for local and international students undertaking one of the eligible single masters postgraduate coursework programs offered in semester 1, 2013 at The University of Sydney Business School.

Benefits: The scholarship covers 50% tuition fees and is tenable for 1.5 to 2 years full-time or 3 to 4 years part-time Masters degree.  To retain a scholarship, the holder must maintain a continuous enrolment during their degree from the semester for which they sought entry.  A continuous enrolment requires four units of study per semester for full-time candidates or two units of study per semester for part-time candidates.

Eligibility
  • The scholarship is available to new students who will commence their first semester of study with the Business School in one of the eligible Masters programs involving 10 to 16 units of study. (A list of eligible Masters programs is available during application). The scholarship is open to full-time international and full-time or part-time domestic students.
  • Only those applicants who have accepted a firm offer of admission to one of the eligible Masters programs in the Business School for the subsequent semester are eligible to be considered for this award. Current students who have completed study toward their degree and students receiving an offer of admission for a combined Masters program are not eligible to apply.
